Each visa application must be accompanied by a set of supporting documents according to the purpose of travel. Please read the LIST OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS and prepare the required documentation.
Letter of guarantee authenticated (notarized) by Administrative Unit (Upravna enota). A photocopy with visible authentication stamps is acceptable. Tourists must enclose a original voucher issued by a Slovenian tourist company (e.g., hotel, travel agency)
Some advertisements claim there is correlation between the fee and the term of validity of a visa. Such information is completely false.
Paying illegaly for such services does not guarantee the issuance of the visa, shorter procedures, or the term of validity of the visa.
Schengen visa fee for Russian citizens is 35 Euro, and 70 Euro for an expedited procedure, regardless of the term of the visa (from 1 Day to 5 Years).

The applicant must submit the above documents in person or through a third person authorised by the applicant; however, the Embassy may decide to interview the applicant in person.
The application may be completed in Slovene, English or Russian. In accordance with applicable laws, processing of a visa application may take from 10 to 30 days. The Embassy generally processes an application in 5 days.
If a visa is refused, the applicant may submit a written appeal in Slovene. A decision on the appeal is made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. Consular tax for appeal in case of visa refusal is 153 euro.
Citizens of Belarus should apply for visa at Embassy of the Republic of Germany in Minsk.
Citizens of Kazahstan should apply for visa at Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Astana and Embassy of the Republic of Hungary in Almata.
Citizens of Uzbekistan should apply for visa at Embassy of the Italian Republic in Tashkent.
